Regerneratable high-efficiency activated carbon for marine water from GroTech. This high-absorbing activated carbon is made of coconut shells and directly after producing a mineral water solution is added in which the carbon is stored and supplied. ReAktiv Carbon stands out by its extremely fast and high absorption characteristics. With the use of ReAktiv carbon, the quantity put into the marine water aquarium can be reduced by up to abt. 50 % in comparison to common activated carbon. A further advantage is the regeneration ability. If ReAktiv Carbon is used for removal of yellow substances, ReAktiv Carbon can be reactivated up to 2 times and reused, whereby the absorbing capacity is reduced with each regeneration process. Reactivation: After use for removal of medicine, ReAktiv Carbon should not be reused, but be exterminated. Please wash out ReAktiv Carbon with reverse osmosis water and put same in dry condition in a basin (glass,ceramics) with lid, which is suitable for the use in the micro-wave and reactivate same abt. 5 min. in the micro-wave at highest level (600W). Afterwards please wash out again with reverse osmosis water. Now, ReAktiv Carbon is ready for reuse.
